Creating 3D CAD models of intended design directions for the creation of prototypes and/or communicating design intent to manufacturing teams at various ends.

Actively involved through the entire product development process from idea-generation to production, with constant oversight of all relevant product areas to ensure consistently high quality of the design & product output.

Sheet Metal production processes like CNC laser cutting, punching, CNC sheet bending, CNC pipe bending and diverse types of welding methods for varied materials from vendors.

Optimizing the machining processes in terms of consistent quality and productivity.

Coordinate and keep good working relationships between different production and support functions and inter departmental activities

  • Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials). 
  • Evaluating designs and making recommendations to improve product quality and overall industrial design. 
  • Understanding and knowledge of the core manufacturing processes and their limitations, and responding to business aims with creative and innovative design solutions Support internal and external customers in case of doubts, ambiguity, problems etc.  
  • Expertise in materials  such as Stainless steel, Aluminum, Mild steel etc. 
  • Assist marketing, suppliers, and Purchase Dept. for material as per product requirement.  
  • Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.

 

Work Experience (4.5 years+)
  • Working as a Mechanical Engineer and Draftsman (3D Modeling and CAD files) at E4 Engineer, Jodhpur, India since Sept 2021. Involved in Mechanical Design and development of Fuel dispensers with automation, wastewater flow meter with automation etc. Mild Steel and SS parts/products including Fuel Dispensers, Box/panels, pipe bending, hydraulic connections etc.  Responsible for the concept/ Idea generation of part design, 3D models to verify design aspect and then release drawings for production and actively take part in production related issues or challenges.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • From coming up with unique, sustainable, economical ideas to the manufacturing (sheet metal production) of the new and existing Product (or parts). 
  • Sheet Metal parts design and release drawings then coordinate with our manufacturer vendors. 
  • Create and Review BOM (Bill of materials), project material requirements. 
  • Make Drawing and prototype to take approval from clients/boss. 
  • Manage and Track prototype development and Customized order requirements. 
  • Parts production at the vendor ends. 
  • Fully responsible for operation and efficient functioning of the FEM Plus project, Upgradation of the Static FDM project.
